Feb.26th  Beijing Cultural Development Center for Rural Women was awarded to be the Most Responsible NGO in 2005 by Chinese Newsweek magazine as well as many other institutions home and broad.
Mar.29th –Apr.2nd A workshop on Human Resources Development, Training and Employment” was hosted in Beijing by BDCDCRW, with 65 participants from all over the country.
Mar.30th  8 people from the Annenberg Foundation visited the Migrant Women’s Club and held discussions with our staff.
April, the Training Center was honored with the title “advanced unit of non state-run school in 2005 by Changping Education Community.
Apr.13th A celebration for the 10th anniversary of the Migrant Women’ Club and the 4th Workshop on Migrant women’s were held in China Women’s Activation centre. More than 100 people attended the meeting.
Apr.18th,  Guangzhou Honda Corporation donated a car to the Training Center.
Apr.20th, Kathleen Hartford from the Ford Foundation visited the Center to discuss the organization’s work and challenges. 
Apr.26th, Wu Qing was invited to make a key speech at a meeting sponsored the UNIFEM Beijing Office.。
May.23rd,  Accompanied by Ms. Herbaler, Vice counsellor for agriculture and Ms. Xue Fan, assistant attaché, from Netherlands Embassy, Mrs. Veerman, wife of the Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality for Netherlands the Training Center and donated RMB 100,000 on behalf of the Holland Agriculture, Nature and Food Ministry to help purchase electric sewing machines and components.
June .12th-15th  One Hundred Women Village Heads Forum was held by the Rural Women Magazine and the Center in Beijing. More than 100 women village leaders and people form women’s federations from over 20 provinces, municipalities and regions attended the meeting. 
June.20th  Xie lihua attended the workshop of “Implementation of CEDAW in China” held in Peking University and gave a speech on rural women’s situation of life.
Sep.25th  Accompanied by officers from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Germany visited the Training Center.
Sep.28th  Shalini Nataraj, vice president for programs of the Global Fund visited Xie lihua and the Training Center.。
Oct.8th  Henderson (China) Investment Co. Ltd signed a memorandum for donating RMB 304,211.00 to the Rural Women Grants Fund for the Training Center for the training of domestic service. 
Dec.26th   Second meeting of the preparatory committee for board of Directors was held to vote 10 board members of the Cultural Development Center for Rural Women by secret ballot.
